Our favorite winemakers
From nearby family estates to cult Pic Saint-Loup bottles, our region is a wine lover’s dream. Below is our handpicked selection of favourite domaines and local addresses—each worth the detour, each with its own story in the glass.
Domaine Mirabel
Our closest neighbour - and a true local gem. Domaine Mirabel crafts beautifully expressive organic wines, shaped by the surrounding landscape and a real sense of place. Their whites are so sought-after they often sell out just weeks after bottling (to our great regret). Stop by for a tasting if you can - Samuel is a wonderful host, and you’ll feel warmly welcomed from the first pour.
Adding to its charm, Domaine Mirabel was named “Vigneron of the Year 2026” by the Guide Hachette des Vins - a remarkable honour and a true testament to their talent.
Domaine Aigues Belle
Our other neighbour - an easy, lovely stop for a tasting just 1km away. Family-run for generations and farmed with an organic approach, the vineyard sits at the northern edge of the appellation, giving the wines a fresh, distinctive character. Expect a warm, passionate welcome from Gilles Palatan - and don’t miss tasting their very large selection of wines.
Mas Picas
A five-minute drive to Corconne, Mas Picas is led by Stéphane Picas, a young winemaker with a thoughtful, hands-on approach. With vineyards reaching into the celebrated Pic Saint-Loup terroir, you’ll be warmly welcomed by Stéphane or Coralie for a relaxed tasting.
Mas Montel
One of the most beautiful settings for a tasting, where you’ll be hosted around a magnificent wooden table and guided through the estate’s wines. The domaine is currently in transition toward organic practices—an understanding of their commitment.
In Vina Terra
If you’d like to discover the best local wines in one place, In Vina Terra is the address. Christelle has curated an exceptional selection and knows every bottle - tell her what you love and she’ll guide you perfectly; you’ll also find delicious regional specialties (and sometimes even a rare, sold-out Domaine Mirabel bottle).
Mas Peyrolle
A true innovator in organic winemaking within the Pic Saint-Loup AOP, Jean-Baptiste crafts reds you’ll remember. Visit for a tasting—he speaks excellent English and shares his work with genuine generosity.
Mas Lander
Our latest discovery, first tasted at the Sauve wine fair - and an immediate favourite for its outstanding reds and excellent value. Winemaker Jérôme Pépin showcases the IGP Cévennes through several ranges, farming organically and using agroecological practices to revive the soils, encourage biodiversity, and help the vines adapt to a changing climate. It’s in Bagard, a 20mn drive worth your while, promise !
Le Mazelet
Discovered by chance while wandering through Durfort - one of our favourite villages.
Le Mazelet quickly became a staple for us. Expect beautiful organic reds, with a Syrah we especially love, and tastings available in English, Dutch, German, and of course French.
